Overview

As aN automotive car photographer BASED IN KOREA, I worked with Dezeen on an automotive commercial for Kia featuring the EV9 within the architectural setting of Sayuwon, a vast arboretum and cultural park near Daegu. The site includes notable works by international and Korean architects such as Álvaro Siza, Seung H-Sang, and Choi Wook, all set within landscaped gardens and mountain scenery.

I was commissioned by Dezeen and Kia as a photographer to capture the EV9 in dialogue with Sayuwon’s bold architecture and expansive natural environment. As a commercial automotive photographer in Korea, I focused on placing the sculptural qualities of the EV9 directly within the rhythm of the surrounding buildings and terrain.
