Overview

As a photographer based in Korea, I worked with Dezeen on a car commercial for Kia. As part of this visual series, the EV3 was featured within the architectural context of Muuun Stay in Gyeongju, a coastal city in the south of South Korea. Designed by Nomal and Onjium Housing Studio, Muuun Stay reinterprets traditional Korean hanok architecture through natural materials, muted interiors, and a balance between Korean and Western design elements. I was commissioned by Dezeen and Kia as a photographer to capture the EV3 alongside the architecture of Muuun Stay. As a commercial car photographer BASED in Korea, I focused on pairing the vehicle’s minimal, compact design with the calm and refined aesthetic of the space. Produced in partnership with Kia, the project continues the series that brings Kia’s electric models into conversation with contemporary Korean architecture.
