Overview
At Frieze Seoul 2025, Dezeen featured Suh Se Ok X LG OLED. Reimagined by Suh Do Ho, shaped by Suh Eul Ho. The exhibition honored the late painter Suh Se Ok, a pioneer of post-liberation Korean ink painting, known for his human-centered themes that explore people as part of nature. His son, internationally acclaimed artist Suh Do Ho, digitally reinterpreted these works using 77” LG OLED T, 97” LG OLED evo G4, 77” G4, and 55” LG OLED Signage. Architect Suh Eul Ho designed a layered space of fabric, OLED T, and OLED evo, creating an experience of “seeing beyond,” where art and technology merge.
Bringing together seven original paintings and their digital reinterpretations, the installation showed how LG OLED functions as the “Digital Canvas” — preserving tradition while pushing creative boundaries.
As Director of Photography, I filmed and edited the video for Dezeen, highlighting how art, architecture, and technology converged through the precision and contrast of LG OLED.
