ZEISS VISIONS | Global Brand Initiative (House of Sun)

The ZEISS VisionS | Global Brand Initiative marks a significant step in repositioning ZEISS from a B2B technology leader to a premium global consumer brand. Developed by lead agency Jung von Matt SPREE under the communication idea Nobody Sees Like You, the campaign emphasizes the individuality of human vision and showcases ZEISS’ innovations in prescription sunglass lenses. Rolled out across multiple international markets, the campaign delivers a wide range of assets for digital, social media, print, point-of-sale, and trade fairs.

For the South Korean production, Markenfilm Asia provided service production, with live-action footage directed by Alex Göke. I was hired as 2nd Unit Director of Photography, contributing to the House of Sun campaign by shooting nature and city B-roll for a sunglasses lens story with a more fashion-oriented approach. I also captured visual material to complement the 3D elements created by Builders Club for the Lumos DuraVision campaign. In addition, I worked alongside DoP Moritz Matlik and photographer Lee Joonhyuk on the Impulse toolbox, the largest part of the initiative, which featured multiple outdoor and indoor locations and a broader cast of talent to showcase ZEISS products in real-life settings. Together, these elements aligned with the campaign’s global visual identity while reinforcing ZEISS’ focus on precision and individuality.

Executed across a diverse set of creative and technical disciplines, the campaign brings ZEISS’ brand promise to life with a strong emphasis on cinematic imagery and authentic detail. By combining international direction with locally executed production, the project demonstrates ZEISS’ ambition to connect with audiences worldwide and establish itself as a leading name in consumer vision care.
