Behind the Scenes
Teaming up with Neil Dowling as a director, the production unfolded seamlessly through our Korean/European production company, CONTENTED. This venture was more than a project; it was a great collaboration. It is with immense pride that we share the screen with Kim Kkobbi, a luminary in the film industry. Taking on the roles of both cinematographer and post-production wizard, I worked as an editor and colorist to bring this visual narrative to life, cherishing the privilege of collaborating with a star of Kkobbi’s caliber.
The Goethe-Institut Korea film, while beautifully capturing the interconnected lives of four individuals, stands as a testament to the profound impact of cultural institutions on personal narratives. In particular, the inclusion of Kim Kkobbi elevates the film, underscoring the universal language of storytelling that transcends borders.
Kim Kkobbi’s Evolution

Her journey from a chance encounter on the set of My Boss, My Hero in 2001 to the breakthrough in 2009 with Breathless, mirrors the transformative power of storytelling. It’s an honor to have her contribute to this project, bringing her expertise and fame to enrich the narrative.
Kim’s filmography, adorned with accolades and international recognition, adds a layer of prestige to our collaboration.
